Prof. Louie & Miss Marie record CD in Italy

Professor Louie & Miss Marie had a wonderful experience recording & performing with The Beards in beautiful Mira in Venice, Italy.
On the Brenta River is the stunning 17th Century Villa Widmann. The Beards, original spaghetti country blues band from Venice, and their sound engineer Francesco Fabiano set up a mobile recording studio inside the Villa. They were joined by legendary American Producer Professor Louie, singer/multi-instrumentalist (Producer of The Band) and vocalist/percussionist Miss Marie. Together for a week, they wrote songs, learned a lot from each other and worked really hard recording their music singing in English and Italian. Miss Marie had the opportunity to sing in Italian with drummer Emanuele on his beautiful ballad.
Julien Poulson, singer/guitarist and "the cousin" from Tasmania, joined the musical family to give a helping hand for this International Collaboration and the result can be heard on the eleven great songs on the new CD Widmann’s Mansion.
Professor Louie & Miss Marie had a great time with new friends The Beards - Emanuele, Max, Andrea Tolin, fellow musicians Andrea Garbo, Julien Poulson and Recording Engineer Francesco. They experienced the delicious Italian food, fabulous wine and grappa of the region and had a lot of fun exploring the beautiful city of Venice. It was a wonderful and exciting Italian trip - a true Spaghetti Adventure.
